Erica Chevillar, the former teacher who caused a stir after posing in a bikini, is now planning on posing for Playboy:
For Chevillar the opportunity to pose for Playboy was too much to pass up. She modeled before in college and says the $31,000 she makes as a teacher just doesn’t cut the bills in Boca.
Chevillar will be appearing in the March issue of Playboy, which came out today.

Chevillar apparently quit her job to model, but I guess the WWE came calling? Is this really a good career move? Then again, we’re talking about a woman who was a member of the US bikini team, so I’m guessing she’ll take publicity wherever she can find it:
Former Playboy model Jennifer Walcott, 29, has dropped out of the 2006 Diva Search Contest. Erica Chevillar will be her replacement. Chevillar is a 25 year old Florida high school teacher who recently made some headlines due to some bikini pictures turning up online.

Kind of a strange story with Erica Chevillar. She hasn’t committed statutory rape, but she’s in trouble for some risque pictures:
Posing for photos dressed only in a bikini caused a lot of controversy for a Florida high school teacher, but it won’t cost her her job.
Word of online photos featuring first-year social studies teacher Erica Chevillar spread among students and staff at the school in West Boca Raton, Fla.
The 25-year-old said she posed for the photos before becoming a teacher. They are featured on a Web site run by a company called the USA National Bikini Team.
After a review, the school district ruled Thursday not to discipline her. Officials said she didn’t violate any school rules or laws.
The ruling may not matter. Chevillar said she’s quitting her teaching job but plans to continue modeling.
