Nadine Nunnelee is a 40 year old teacher from Garden City, Kansas. She’s facing federal charges of unlawful sexual relations with a minor. She resigned last week:

The school board voted 4-1 to accept the resignation. Board President Gail Dunford said it was “in the best interest of the district.”

The board passed a resolution in February declaring its intent to fire Nunnelee. That resolution was rescinded.
