Police are investigating a possible relationship between a teacher and student at a Charlotte high school.
An 18-year-old E.E. Waddell High School student filed a police report saying he had sex with his female teacher.
School officials said the teacher was suspended on Wednesday and then quit.
The assistant principal seems to think that if it didn’t happen on school property then it’s simply not that big of a deal:
“We will tell you this incident did not happen on school property. It was done over the weekend. We take a vested interest in our students while they are in school as well as when they are away,” she said.
