New addition to the Hott for Teacher family, Sandra Elaine Rice is a 48 year old teacher at Phoenixville Area High School and the Center for Arts and Technology. That’s a real mouthful.
Anyway, Sandra has allegedly been getting up to some mischief, and is being charged with two counts of corruption of a minor:
PASD officials received word of the criminal investigation in August, and immediately restricted Rice to working from her home. Up to that point, she had been a one-on-one aide for special needs students at CAT-Pickering.
In September, after authorities executed a search warrant on Rice’s home, personal possessions and vehicles, Rice was suspended without pay and was banned from Phoenixville Area School District property.
The Superintendent goes on to say that Rice’s charge was probably unaware of her crime, which game me a big sigh of relief. I mean, it’s arguable how bad the crime of statutory rape with a 17 year old male really is, but if he was a special needs student then that would take things to a whole new level of wrongness.

What ever happened to Sandra Elaine Rice involving the sexual charges against her? Phoenixville is a small town and we heard nothing again since May when the story broke.
Where is the justice? Is Sandra Rice innocent or quilty of all charges before her?
