Sara Singley, after being convicted of carrying on a sexual relationship with a 16 year old student, ended up spending just two days in prison:

A Freedom High School substitute teacher who admitted to having an affair with a student was released Wednesday to house arrest two days into her 30-day minimum jail sentence.

Sara Singley, a substitute teacher and assistant basketball coach, won permission for early release from Northampton County Judge Edward G. Smith due to prison overcrowding and her lack of a prior criminal record, according to court records.

Singley, 28, must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet while she is on house arrest.

Smith had sentenced Singley on Monday to 30 days to two years in Northampton County Prison. She also was ordered to pay $15,201 in restitution, attend an outpatient sex offender treatment program, have no contact with minors and undergo clinical polygraph tests.
